ANN CELINE WALSH DUPAGE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT

Judge Ann Celine Walsh currently sits on the Circuit Court of DuPage County. Ann Celine has served as a judge for six years. She was appointed as the Presiding Judge of the Specialty and Juvenile Courts Division and currently hears felony criminal cases. Prior to these assignments, Ann Celine was the Presiding Judge of the Misdemeanor and Traffic Division and she sat in the Domestic Violence and DUI courtrooms. She also adjudicated cases in the Law Division as the Supervisor of Arbitration Court. Since 2018, Ann Celine has served as the chairperson of the 18th Judicial Circuit Court’s Family Violence Coordinating Council for DuPage County.

Even before becoming a judge, Ann Celine worked passionately to promote safety and justice in DuPage County. As a prosecutor for over 15 years, she quickly rose through the ranks in the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office. She prosecuted hundreds of cases, earning her positions as a First Chair in the Felony Trial Division and Supervisor of the Sex Crimes/Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Unit. Ann Celine often guided innocent victims of heinous crimes through the court system with compassion and empathy. Her experiences strengthened her legal knowledge, her ability to keep an open mind, and her resolve to do what is right and just for all.

Ann Celine is a life-long DuPage County resident, and a proud mother and wife. She and her husband, Frank, remain active in the community with their three boys. Frank has been a volunteer football coach and board member for years and Ann Celine has served in various leadership roles for their school and parish. They enjoying giving back to their community because it is part of what makes raising a family in DuPage County so special.
