Drew Ellis is a lifelong resident of Milton Township and a graduate of Glenbard West High. He
earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Finance from Northwestern University
and a Master in Banking at University of Colorado in Boulder. Drew resides in Wheaton with his
wife Suzanne and their GSD Sophia.
Drew is a Banker by profession and brings over 35 years of experience in the business and municipal finance and credit risk management and auditing. Throughout his career, he has worked with several local financial institutions. Drew is currently employed as the Commercial Loan Manager of Corporate America Family Credit Union (CAFCU). He was elected a served on the District 41 board in 2009 to 2017 as Vice President. Since 2018, he has served as the Chairman of the Milton Township Cemetery Authority. Drew has also volunteered for multiple organizations within Milton Township including: Glen Ellyn Partnership for Educational Progress, Glen Ellyn Parks Foundation and Milton Township CERT.
Drew has a strong desire for helping others and a history of giving back to the community. He
has a strong belief in the township government which is the closest to the people. As the oldest
form of government in this country, elected officials and staff are able to determine the needs of
our residents and prioritize our offerings to meet them in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
He plans to use his very extensive background of experience to help and guide the Township in
various fields from budgeting, economics, to planning and implementation toward the most
efficient use of the residents’ tax dollars in various public improvement projects, and enhance the
existing pillars of services, such as GA, Cert, Senior and Young programs and the Cemetery
Authority, provided by the Township.
